Mickey Waffle

Love starting my day at Disney World with a Mickey Waffle.  This last stay I got on half the mornings at the food court at the All Star Sports.  The waffles are nice and fluffy.  They come with some bacon.  There is the option for fruit topping, but I like it with just butter, so it is not too messy to just pick up and chow down.

Epcot Flower & Garden Festival: Verrine Charlotte au Peches at L'Orangerie

Verrine Charlotte au Peches are carmelized peaches and rosemary with light vanilla cream. I didn't like this at all. The peaches tasted weird, as the peach flavor didn't really exist.

Epcot Flower & Garden Festival: Baked Goat's Brie with Kumquat Chutney at The Cottage

I liked the puff pastry with goat 's cheese inside. I didn't really like the kumquat chutney, though. It seemed kind of appley.

Epcot Flower & Garden Festival: Potato Chive and Cheddar Cheese Biscuit at The Cottage

I loved the Potato, Chive, and Cheddar Cheese biscuit with Smoked Salmon Tartare and Sour Cream. I has a really great tasting combination of flavors.

Epcot Flower & Garden Festival: Chilled Rose Blush Lemonade at The Cottage

I didn't like the Chilled Rose Blush Lemonade. It seemed too sweet.

Epcot Flower & Garden Festival: Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade at Pineapple Promenade

The Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade was really good. Tastes like an Icee. Nice and lemony, but not too much as if there is flavor of something else, which I guess is the violet. It even has an edible flower.

Epcot Flower & Garden Festival: Angel Food Cake at Florida Fresh

I don't really like angel food cake in general, but the strawberries and whipped cream were very good.

Epcot Flower & Garden Festival: Rocky Road Brownie Mousse at The Smokehouse

The rocky road brownie mousse had a brownie base with chocolate mousse on top and some marshmallows and nuts. Very chocolatey, seems more brownie than mousse flavor even though it is mostly mousse. Good of you want something chocolaty. Would be better with more marshmallows and probably no brownie.

Epcot Flower & Garden Festival: Pulled Pig Slider at The Smokehouse

Just regular pulled pork, although the bun was better than a regular bun. I liked the brisket at The Smokehouse better.

Epcot Flower & Garden Festival: Smoked Beef Brisket at The Smokehouse

The brisket was really good. It was soft and chewy. I liked it with the sweet barbecue sauce better than the hot, but it was best just without adding any from the condiment station.

It came with jalapeño cornbread. The jalapeño is kind of subtle. Not really enough jalapeño, but perhaps that is good for those that don't like spicy.

Never had collared greens before, but they seemed rather plain to me.

Epcot Flower & Garden Festival: Frushi at Hanami

Loved the real whipped cream served with the Frushi. The Frushi is like a roll style sushi with strawberries, pineapple, and cantaloupe. The rice inside didn't really taste like coconut, which was good because I don't like coconut anyways.

Epcot Flower & Garden Festival: Spiced Lamb Kebab at Taste of Marrakesh

Lamb was good, although I didn't really taste the mint oil they put on it. I liked the spices on it, especially the pepper.
